Alaia Baldwin Aronow, the older sister of Hailey Bieber, could face up to a year in prison after being charged with battery and other offenses related to a February 2024 incident at Club Elan in Georgia. Prosecutors filed four misdemeanor charges against the 33-year-old model, including simple battery, simple assault, battery, and criminal trespass, according to court documents.

Authorities allege Aronow threw a tampon at a bartender, pulled hair from a victim’s scalp, and struck another victim in the genitals during the altercation. The police report states she entered a locked employee bathroom at the club, where bartender Haleigh Cauley granted her permission to change her tampon. When Cauley returned, Aronow allegedly discarded the tampon by throwing it at the bartender, prompting security to intervene.

Club security footage allegedly showed Aronow resisting removal from the venue, pulling a bouncer’s hair, and striking another in the genitals. While Aronow initially denied forcing her way into the bathroom and throwing the tampon, she later admitted to the latter action but claimed self-defense during the altercation with security. Her arraignment is scheduled for April 23, and her representative did not immediately respond to requests for comment. If convicted, the battery charge alone carries a maximum sentence of one year in jail.
