Andy Cohen has responded to speculation about his appearance during CNN’s New Year’s Eve broadcast, where viewers remarked on his refreshed look. The 57-year-old Bravo executive addressed the plastic surgery rumors on his SiriusXM show Andy Cohen Live, calling the speculation “flattering” but clarifying he hadn’t undergone any dramatic procedures. He admitted to minor tweaks, including a small amount of Botox and four subtle veneers on his front teeth.
Cohen also attributed his changed appearance to heavy makeup, jokingly revealing he asked Anderson Cooper’s makeup artist for extra bronzer before the broadcast. Some viewers compared his look to a “beaten-down lady,” while others questioned his facial changes online. Cohen responded directly to one critical Threads user, stating, “Did the smallest amount of Botox and lost 20 pounds! And had a lot of makeup on.” Monica Lewinsky defended him, calling him “very handsome.”
The TV host confirmed he first tried Botox in early 2025, despite years of encouragement from the late Joan Rivers, who had persistently advised him to try the treatment. He also shared that he lost 20 pounds by “micro-dosing” a GLP-1 medication (like Ozempic) for weight management and health reasons, including addressing plaque in his arteries and high blood pressure.
