Brooklyn Beckham has publicly addressed the ongoing feud within his family through a candid Instagram statement. The 26-year-old son of David and Victoria Beckham alleged that his mother disrupted his wedding to Nicola Peltz in April 2022 by unexpectedly taking over their planned first dance. Brooklyn claimed Victoria danced “very inappropriately” with him in front of guests, leaving him feeling “uncomfortable and humiliated.” He and Nicola subsequently renewed their vows privately in August 2025 at her family’s Florida estate, without any Beckham family members present.
In his statement, Brooklyn further accused Victoria of repeatedly inviting his ex-girlfriends into their lives to create discomfort and alleged she canceled designing Nicola’s wedding dress last-minute. He also claimed both parents pressured him to sign over rights to his name before the wedding, affecting their relationship when he refused. Regarding David’s 50th birthday celebration, Brooklyn insisted they traveled to London for the event but were ignored for a week before David allegedly agreed to meet only without Nicola present.
Brooklyn explained his decision to speak out after years of silence, asserting that he’d been “controlled” by his parents for most of his life and no longer wants reconciliation. He denied that Nicola influences him negatively, stating their marriage has brought him peace and reduced his lifelong anxiety. Representatives for David and Victoria Beckham did not immediately respond to requests for comment on the allegations. The family tensions have reportedly escalated since the wedding, with Brooklyn recently instructing his parents to communicate only through legal representatives.
