Dave Portnoy sharply criticized Zach Bryan’s recent marriage to Samantha Leonard, highlighting the bride’s striking resemblance to Bryan’s ex-girlfriend, Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia. The Barstool Sports founder tweeted his disbelief three days after the couple’s December 30 wedding in Spain, writing, “There ain’t no way that ain’t a Brianna robot. Ain’t no way.”
Portnoy had previously commented on the similarities between Leonard and LaPaglia when Bryan’s new relationship emerged in August, calling their likeness “insane” during an episode of his “Unnamed Show” podcast. At the time, he jokingly accused Bryan of being a “psychopath” who’d “built a Brianna 2.0 in the lab.”
Bryan and LaPaglia dated from 2023 until 2024. Following their split, LaPaglia accused Bryan of emotional abuse, alleging he once broke a glass in anger and made her friends cry. She also claimed he offered her $12 million to sign a non-disclosure agreement, which she refused as “blood money.”
In July, their feud escalated when Bryan shared private text messages between them on social media, prompting LaPaglia to release her own screenshots and call him “f—ing stupid” on her “BFFs” podcast. Around that time, Bryan was briefly linked to Australian model Hannah Duncan before moving on with Leonard.
LaPaglia has since vowed to remain single, stating in early 2024 she “never” wants a boyfriend again and humorously speculated she might be a lesbian. Bryan has not publicly addressed LaPaglia’s allegations.
