Aaron Phypers, the estranged husband of actress Denise Richards, and his family are pleading for financial assistance after being evicted from their Los Angeles mansion. Phypers’ mother, Patricia, launched a GoFundMe campaign following a court ruling that favored the landlord’s repossession of the $3.3 million property. In her appeal, Patricia described herself as a “grandmother begging for justice” and claimed her son has been “destroyed by false allegations, Hollywood power, and a system determined to silence him.”
She emphasized the emotional toll of losing access to 14-year-old Eloise, whom Richards adopted before their marriage. Aaron is fighting for custody, alleging he raised Eloise as his own and accusing Richards of failing to formalize his adoption. Patricia further accused Richards of neglecting responsibilities, claiming she spent her pension caring for 36 dogs and five cats allegedly hidden from the landlord, along with covering vet bills and household expenses.
Patricia asserted Aaron was left with “no income, no home, and no ability to fight back” after being “cut off, slandered, and wrongfully arrested.” The fundraiser had gathered $1,308 as of January 2.
The couple was ordered to vacate their Calabasas home last week over $84,000 in unpaid rent. Richards, who has not resided there amid their divorce, filed for a permanent restraining order against Aaron in November, citing abuse—a claim he denies. Aaron countered by seeking emergency spousal support, warning he faced homelessness without access to shared funds.
Richards adopted Eloise in 2011 and shares daughters Sami, 21, and Lola, 20, with ex-husband Charlie Sheen.
