Evangeline Lilly shared an update on her recovery journey following a traumatic brain injury. The 46-year-old actress, known for “Lost,” posted an Instagram video detailing her treatment plan, emphasizing she’s following personalized medical advice to address brain deficiencies.
Lilly listed supplements she takes throughout the day, including N-Acetyl Cysteine and creatine in the morning, Resveratrol and Omega-3s at lunch, and Coenzyme Q10 with dinner. She acknowledged her privileged position in being able to afford specialized care, stating, “I consider myself one of the extremely fortunate people in this country who can take care of my body without money getting in the way.”
The actress sustained her injuries in May 2025 after fainting on a rocky beach and hitting her face on a boulder. Graphic photos showed severe facial bruising, lacerations, and a dislodged front tooth. Subsequent medical evaluations revealed brain damage, with scans showing reduced function across multiple brain regions.
Lilly clarified that her cognitive challenges stem from both the injury and potential other factors, differentiating them from peri-menopausal symptoms. The retired actress – who stepped away from acting in June 2024 – thanked supporters for their ongoing concern and prayers during her recovery process.
