During that January appearance, she visited London’s Royal Marsden Hospital, where she had undergone cancer treatment in 2024, to announce she was in remission.
The midi-length coat, an elongated version of Blazé Milano’s double-breasted Lahloo Anyway blazer, featured a tailored waist and distinctive curved pockets. Middleton first wore it on Christmas Day in 2021 and sported it three times in 2025, bookending her year with it to symbolize resilience amid personal challenges.
For the Christmas service, she layered the coat over a plaid Gucci midi skirt she’s owned since 2020, pairing it with Gianvito Rossi brown suede boots and a mocha DeMellier Small Hudson bag. Her accessories included Cartier Trinity earrings, a vintage Really Wild Clothing silk scarf last worn in 2014, and a new chocolate-brown fascinator by Juliette Botterill with delicate snowflake details.
She coordinated with daughter Princess Charlotte, 10, who wore a beige Catherine Walker coat with brown velvet trim, while Prince William and sons Prince George, 12, and Prince Louis, 7, opted for navy suits. The family’s appearance followed Middleton’s Christmas Eve surprise: a piano duet with Charlotte during her “Together at Christmas” broadcast. The recorded service, held at Westminster Abbey on December 5, also featured handwritten paper chains from the children adorning the event’s Christmas tree.
