Jana Duggar, the eldest daughter of Michelle Duggar and Jim Bob Duggar, has welcomed her first child with husband Stephen Wissmann. The couple’s son, Archie, was born on December 30.
The former “Counting On” star shared the news on Instagram, expressing their joy: “We took some time to settle into our new rhythm before sharing this sweet news. Our hearts have been completely changed. We’re soaking in these early days, full of love, wonder, and so much gratitude.”
Jana announced her pregnancy in August, posting a photo with Wissmann cradling her bump. She wrote at the time, “January 2026 is going to come with a little bundle of joy joining our family. We’re counting down the days and eagerly looking forward to this thrilling new chapter!” Her sisters, including Jessa and Jill Duggar, celebrated the news in the comments.
By November, Jana and sister-in-law Abbie Duggar hosted a joint gender reveal, where Jana learned she was expecting a boy.
The couple married in Arkansas in August 2024, two months after Wissmann proposed. They had previously dated between 2020 and 2022 before rekindling their relationship earlier in 2024.
