The vacation occurred as newly revealed court documents detailed Lively’s sexual harassment lawsuit against Baldoni related to their 2024 film collaboration. Unsealed texts included a studio executive calling Baldoni a “moron” for alleged inappropriate comments during promotions, while Taylor Swift referred to him as a “bitch” with a “tiny violin” in messages to Lively. Swift reportedly expressed discomfort about the situation affecting her friendship with Lively, who later apologized.
Though Lively’s lawsuit continues, Baldoni’s $400 million defamation countersuit was dismissed last June. Meanwhile Swift reportedly feels “violated” by the release of private texts.
