Kathy Griffin opened up about unexpectedly falling for a man over four decades her junior following her divorce from her second husband, Randy Bick. The 65-year-old comedian revealed her relationship with the 23-year-old in a personal essay, noting he lacked the “sexism, misogyny, and biases” she often encountered in men her age. She described their connection as genuine, saying he made her feel “sexy, special, smart, and funny,” and emphasized how rare it was for her to “click” with someone.

Despite her feelings, Griffin ended the relationship, believing her life experience created too much “baggage” for him long-term. She has no regrets about dating younger men, proudly embracing the “cougar” label as a rejection of societal expectations. Griffin, who has used dating apps with her real age listed, joked, “I can’t let this bangin’ body go to waste.”

Her divorce from Bick, 18 years her junior, was finalized in January. Last October, she admitted the split left her “heartbroken,” saying she never anticipated being alone at this stage of life but takes full responsibility for the outcome.
