Katie Rost is receiving treatment after experiencing a drug-induced seizure, according to claims made by her husband via her social media account. He reportedly posted from Rost’s X account on Sunday, stating, “My wife is in treatment, I have her phone. TY, for the messages,” adding in a later deleted tweet, “I can’t answer for her. I’m upset. She is okay. Gets out of detox soon.”

Her husband, whose identity remains private, alleged Rost had taken MDMA before the seizure occurred. He urged those with footage of the incident not to share it, writing, “She had already planned to go in, but that happened… #respect.” A final tweet emphasized, “All that matters. She is okay.”

Rost, 45, debuted on Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Potomac” in its first season (2016) alongside cast members Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Robyn Dixon, Karen Huger, and Charrisse Jackson. She later appeared as a “friend” in Seasons 2 and 4 and made guest appearances in Season 7.

Since leaving the show, Rost has faced personal struggles, including a custody battle over her three children with ex-husband Dr. James Orsini and battles with addiction. In 2022, she disclosed completing a 30-day rehab program for alcohol and Adderall dependency and later working a minimum-wage job. She relapsed that same year, stating she was “starting over,” and checked back into rehab for alcohol abuse in November 2023.

In July 2025, Rost announced her marriage to a partner she described as the “love of [her] life,” crediting him with encouraging her to seek help and reduce social media use.
