Kayla Nicole, the ex-girlfriend of NFL star Travis Kelce, made a subtle dig at him and his fiancée, Taylor Swift, during a 2026 Super Bowl commercial for the sports app Sleeper. The ad featured Tiffany Haddish and Ben Simmons as “The Ex-communicators,” a duo offering support for emotional injuries from high-profile breakups. In the spot, Haddish asked viewers if they’d been snubbed by an ex in a commercial, referencing Simmons’ own ex, Kendall Jenner, who recently mocked him in a Fanatics ad.

Nicole, described in the ad as the “ex of a certain NFL player,” appeared in a pink suit and sarcastically dismissed Haddish and Simmons’ expertise, claiming they “have no idea what they’re doing.” She later expressed frustration over an ongoing “ex-girlfriend fiasco,” to which Simmons replied, “That doesn’t sound right.” When Nicole joked about resolving the issue “pronto,” Simmons corrected her with the word “swiftly”—a clear nod to Swift.

Other celebrities, including “Love Island” alum Ace Greene and rapper Offset, also appeared in the ad, with Offset humorously admitting confusion about his role. The commercial concluded with Haddish and Simmons promoting Sleeper by advising viewers to “pick players” and “make cash.”

Nicole dated Kelce on and off between 2017 and 2022 and has publicly addressed their past relationship. Swift, who began dating Kelce in 2023, seemingly referenced Nicole in her 2025 song “Opalite.” The couple got engaged in 2025 and plans to marry this summer.
