Kevin Hart is the most recent high-profile figure to distance himself from Sean “Diddy” Combs following the mogul’s legal troubles. While heading to a dinner in West Hollywood with his wife, Eniko, Hart was confronted by paparazzi regarding his past association with the Bad Boy Records founder.
When questioned about the thousands of bottles of baby oil discovered by federal agents at Combs’ residences, and whether he saw them while “hosting” for Diddy, the 45-year-old comedian dismissed the inquiry. Hart replied that the photographer was asking the “wrong person the wrong question” and declined to comment on Combs’ safety in prison.
The exchange comes as footage from a 2010 party Hart hosted for Combs at NYC’s London Hotel has resurfaced. The video shows Hart in a hot tub area surrounded by women in bikinis, with other major stars like Usher and Swizz Beatz in attendance. While Hart and other celebrity guests have not been accused of any crimes or knowledge of illegal acts, the scrutiny on Combs’ inner circle is intensifying.
Attorney Tony Buzbee, who is representing over 120 individuals in civil suits against Combs, recently stated that he intends to eventually identify other “enablers” and bystanders involved in the alleged misconduct. Buzbee teased that many well-known names would be revealed once the evidence is fully vetted.
Combs is currently in federal custody in Brooklyn, facing charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty, and his legal team continues to dismiss the civil allegations as a “media circus,” maintaining his innocence against all claims of abuse.
