Lisa Rinna recently shared emotional insights about her departure from “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” during an episode of Peacock’s “The Traitors,” where she was banished from the game. In a tearful confessional, the 62-year-old reflected, “The end of ‘Housewives’ was very difficult for me. It was just so nice to be me. I am just so grateful for the entire experience.”
Rinna joined the Bravo series in its fifth season and remained for eight years before exiting in 2022. At the time, she called it her longest job in a 35-year career, stating, “I am grateful to everyone at Bravo and all those involved in the series. It has been a fun eight-year run and I am excited for what is to come.” Her departure was reportedly mutual.
Days earlier, Rinna addressed backlash over calling her “Traitors” co-star Colton Underwood a “stalker” during the show, a comment that resurfaced alongside past restraining orders against him and led to death threats. On Instagram, she urged followers to “please be gentle” with Underwood, clarifying, “Colton and I are great. He was a great nemesis for me on the show [and] in the game.” She emphasized her remark was “all part of the game” and condemned the extreme reactions, adding, “Don’t send death threats or do anything to jeopardize somebody’s family.” Rinna confirmed they had been texting and that their on-screen tension was purely for entertainment.
