Lori Loughlin remains deeply resentful toward her estranged husband, Mossimo Giannulli, three months after their separation, according to insiders. A source revealed to People that the “Full House” actress is “still extremely angry” with the fashion designer. However, another insider shared that Giannulli hopes to resolve matters peacefully and considers Loughlin “a lovely person and an incredible mom” to their daughters, Olivia Jade, 26, and Isabella Rose, 27.
Representatives for both Loughlin, 61, and Giannulli, 62, declined to comment. The couple announced their split in October after nearly 28 years of marriage but have yet to file for divorce. A previous report suggested their relationship reached a breaking point after Loughlin discovered “incriminating” messages on Giannulli’s phone following their incarceration for the 2019 Varsity Blues college admissions scandal.
Both pleaded guilty in 2020 to paying $500,000 in bribes to secure their daughters’ admission to the University of Southern California as fake rowing recruits. Loughlin served two months in prison, while Giannulli served five. A friend claimed Giannulli “used Lori for years” and that his behavior worsened after their release.
Sources added that the scandal irreparably damaged their relationship, with Loughlin feeling Giannulli “spearheaded” their involvement and never fully forgiving him. Since their separation, the pair listed their Hidden Hills, California, mansion for $16.5 million. While Loughlin has maintained a low profile, Giannulli has occasionally been seen with a younger female companion.
