Maralee Nichols shared new Instagram photos of her son with Tristan Thompson, Theo, for the first time in years. In the Tuesday post, titled “Weekend Adventures ❤️,” the fitness model showcased moments from their San Diego getaway, including visits to the zoo, a bookstore, and the beach. She kept Theo’s face obscured or turned away in the images. Nichols described the trip as “peaceful” and “so much fun” in the comments.
Her previous post was in September 2024, and Theo’s last appearance on her feed was seven months earlier in February 2024, where she captioned a photo of him picking fruit, “Happy.” Before that, she documented a farm outing in August 2023.
Nichols welcomed Theo in December 2021 while Thompson was in a relationship with Khloé Kardashian, who was expecting their son Tatum (now 3) via surrogate at the time. Thompson initially denied paternity, but tests confirmed him as Theo’s father in January 2022.
Despite publicly acknowledging his other children—son Prince (9) with ex Jordan Craig, and daughter True (7) and son Tatum with Kardashian—Thompson has never publicly mentioned Theo. He has also referred to Kardashian’s niece Dream (Rob Kardashian’s 9-year-old daughter) as his “daughter” on social media, drawing criticism for excluding Theo. Nichols previously clarified that her connection with Thompson was “not a one-night stand.”
