Melania Trump has officially stepped into the cinematic spotlight.
The former first lady attended the premiere of her self-titled Amazon documentary at Washington D.C.’s Trump Kennedy Center, opting for timeless elegance in her fashion choice. The 55-year-old wore a black Dolce & Gabbana skirt suit complemented by Christian Louboutin stilettos, accessorizing with a mid-waist leather belt and wearing her hair in soft waves.
She appeared alongside her husband, former President Donald Trump, who wore a blue suit with a burgundy tie. When addressing reporters, the 79-year-old expressed pride in his wife’s accomplishments, stating, “I am proud of her. She’s done a great job. A thing like this is not easy.”
Following the screening, dual after-parties were planned—one official event and another at Donald Trump Jr.’s private members club featuring a performance by Akon.
This public premiere followed a private White House screening hosted by Melania herself on Saturday, where guests received limited-edition popcorn buckets and adhered to a black-and-white dress code. For that event, Melania wore a classic tuxedo ensemble without a bowtie.
Marc Beckman, the film’s producer and Melania’s senior advisor, emphasized the documentary’s unprecedented access: “Nobody’s ever had access to the First Lady like this… she brings people into never-before-seen meetings and locations.” He noted the deliberate theatrical release strategy was influenced by Melania’s desire for a “rich, highly-stylized cinematic experience.”
