Mossimo Giannulli maintains enduring affection for Lori Loughlin despite their separation, according to a People report. The fashion designer, 62, remains on good terms with his estranged wife three months after confirming their split. However, their daughters Isabella, 27, and Olivia Jade, 26, are reportedly distressed by speculation surrounding their father’s dating life and his relationship with Loughlin.
Giannulli made headlines last year after being photographed with a 32-year-old stylist following the end of his 28-year marriage. Though he views Loughlin as a “lovely person and incredible mom,” she remains “extremely angry” with him. Page Six first reported the couple’s separation in October 2025, with representatives confirming they were “living apart” without formal divorce proceedings.
Sources indicate Loughlin discovered “incriminating” messages on Giannulli’s phone, which became the final catalyst for their breakup. Their relationship had reportedly never recovered from the fallout of the 2019 college admissions scandal. “They never really connected after that,” a source told Us Weekly, noting Giannulli “spearheaded” the scheme that led to prison sentences for both.
John Stamos, Loughlin’s former co-star, publicly criticized Giannulli as a “terrible narcissist” on his podcast, asserting Loughlin “put up with a lot” during their marriage. “Whatever hardships she’s faced connects to this guy,” Stamos remarked, referencing Loughlin’s two-month prison sentence compared to Giannulli’s five-month term for conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud. While separated, no divorce filings have been initiated.
