Nicola Peltz’s father, Nelson Peltz, has publicly addressed the ongoing feud between his son-in-law, Brooklyn Beckham, and Brooklyn’s parents, David and Victoria Beckham. During a Q&A session at the WSJ Invest Live event in West Palm Beach, Florida, the 83-year-old billionaire joked about the media attention surrounding his family, sarcastically remarking, “Has my family been in the press lately? I haven’t noticed at all.”
Nelson emphasized his preference for privacy, advising his loved ones to “stay the hell out of the press” when navigating challenges. He acknowledged the public dispute involving his daughter and the Beckhams but declined to elaborate, calling it “a whole other story.” Instead, he praised Nicola and Brooklyn, expressing confidence in their future: “My daughter is great, my son-in-law Brooklyn is great, and I look forward to them having a long, happy marriage together.”
The Beckham family tensions escalated last month when Brooklyn, 26, posted a statement on Instagram accusing his parents of attempting to undermine his marriage to Nicola, 31. He alleged Victoria danced “inappropriately” with him at their 2022 wedding and claimed his parents sought to “destroy” their relationship.
In response, Brooklyn’s siblings—Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 14—publicly supported their parents during a recent Paris Fashion Week event honoring Victoria. Shortly afterward, Nicola shared a romantic TikTok video with Brooklyn set to Coldplay’s “Yellow,” captioning it, “i love you @Brooklyn Beckham.”
Nelson was also dragged into headlines after rumors circulated that he provides Nicola with a $1 million monthly allowance. However, a source close to the family denied these claims, calling them “100% false” and asserting the story was fabricated without evidence.
