Nicola Peltz’s recent weight loss, which sparked fan speculation under her Instagram posts, has been attributed to her preparation for an upcoming film role. A source revealed to People that the “Bates Motel” actress underwent a significant physical transformation and adopted an intense workout routine for her role as a prima ballerina in the movie “Prima,” set to co-star Faye Dunaway, Mira Sorvino, and Jack Huston.
The film follows Peltz’s character Margo, a classical dancer whose devotion to her art is tested when modern shifts threaten her ballet company’s traditions. Peltz’s representative did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
Her slimmer appearance became notable after she shared vacation photos with husband Brooklyn Beckham. This follows recent tension between Brooklyn and his parents, David and Victoria Beckham. In a since-deleted social media post, Brooklyn accused his parents of repeatedly disrespecting Peltz, spreading “countless lies,” and attempting to undermine their marriage. He specifically claimed Victoria canceled plans to design Peltz’s wedding dress last-minute and behaved “inappropriately” during a dance with him at their 2022 wedding, leaving him “humiliated.” Brooklyn also stated he has no intention of reconciling with his parents.
