Doctors discovered cancerous cells on her cervix, prompting the need for further testing via a cone biopsy under anesthesia.
Polizzi, 38, admitted feeling “terrified” but emphasized cervical cancer is serious. If her upcoming biopsy shows abnormal results, she may require a hysterectomy. Though she and husband Jionni LaValle have three children (Lorenzo, 13; Giovanna, 11; Angelo, 6), she expressed sadness about losing the possibility of more kids, stating, “as a woman, the thought… is just sad.” Still, she prioritizes her health to “be here for my kids now.”
