North West appears to have added a second finger piercing alongside her previous one. The 12-year-old shared a photo on her Instagram Stories showing both piercings on her middle and pointer fingers, followed shortly by a beat titled “Piercing on my hand hardstyle outro.” This comes after criticism earlier in the year when she debuted a similar dermal piercing, prompting online backlash directed at her mother, Kim Kardashian, with some questioning why a child was allowed to get such piercings.

While Kardashian didn’t directly address the piercings in public, she acknowledged the challenges of parenting North’s bold fashion choices during an appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, noting how some styles deemed inappropriate for her daughter became public missteps. North later responded to critics herself via TikTok, captioning a video, “This is for everyone that’s mad over a finger piercing.”

By Christmas, however, the initial piercing appeared to have been removed in photos showing North sporting new dental grills. Speculation arose that both piercings might be temporary adornments rather than permanent, similar to her past faux nose bridge piercing. North has experimented with edgy aesthetics since childhood, including wearing a fake nose ring at age six, cementing her reputation as a young style innovator.
