North West is making a bold social media entrance. Despite only having three official Instagram posts, each one garners significant attention. Her latest upload on Christmas Day featured a series of photos highlighting her long blue hair and a striking new pair of diamond “shark” grillz designed by Johnny Dang & Co. The pointed, predator-inspired dental jewelry—crafted entirely from diamonds—was showcased in an accompanying Instagram Stories video.
The carousel post appeared to blend two distinct photoshoots. North wore a Balenciaga Tat hoodie ($1,700) and matching sweatpants ($1,400), paired with rare Chrome Hearts x Rick Owens sneakers—sold out everywhere but listed on eBay for $22,000. She also flaunted a limited-edition Chrome Hearts Silichrome Infinity Cross Ring in blue, matching her hair color. One part of the shoot captured high-flash, stylized images aboard her family’s all-white private jet, while another showed her with Johnny Dang in a snowy backyard setting at Kim Kardashian’s Hidden Hills home.
The grillz mark a long-awaited accessory for North, hinted at weeks earlier when Kardashian shared a selfie with Dang. North’s style choices, however, have drawn public criticism. Kardashian defended her daughter’s experimentation on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, acknowledging the challenge of navigating personal expression under public scrutiny. She noted that while many kids explore similar fashion trends, North does so “in front of the whole world.”
