Nancy vanished from her Tucson-area home on Sunday after failing to attend church. She was last seen Saturday night around 9:30 p.m. when dropped off at her Catalina Foothills residence following a family dinner. Police believe she was forcibly taken from her home “against her will, possibly in the middle of the night,” classifying the incident as potential kidnapping or abduction. Blood evidence discovered outside the property has confirmed the site as an active crime scene.
Nancy’s daughter Annie Guthrie was the last family member to see her before the disappearance. The Guthrie family released a statement through Savannah’s “Today” colleagues, confirming their collaboration with law enforcement and requesting public assistance through the Pima County Sheriff’s Department tip line (520-351-4900).
Michael Feldman, Savannah’s husband, told Page Six he had no updates to share. The broadcaster is reportedly withdrawing from her planned role hosting NBC’s 2026 Winter Olympics opening ceremony as the search continues.
