Pax Jolie-Pitt, the 22-year-old son of Angelina Jolie, made a rare public appearance at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. He attended the screening of the film “Self Custody” on Friday, posing for photos with director Garrett Patten and producer Fernando Ferro. Pax opted for a casual look, wearing a red checkered overshirt over a black T-shirt.
Reports from TMZ suggest Pax may be exploring a career in film production, following in his mother’s footsteps. After discussing potential projects with Ferro and Patten, he joined them at the festival and reportedly performed “extremely well.”
Born in Vietnam, Pax was adopted by Jolie in 2007 and later by Brad Pitt in 2008. Growing up in Hollywood, he and his five siblings frequently accompanied their parents to red-carpet events. Pax previously had minor roles in Jolie’s films “Maleficent” (2014) and “Kung Fu Panda 3” (2016) but appears more inclined toward behind-the-scenes work.
Jolie has emphasized her children’s preference for privacy, calling them “especially shy, very private people” during a 2024 interview. Pax and his siblings — Maddox, 24; Zahara, 21; Shiloh, 19; and twins Knox and Vivienne, 17 — have reportedly distanced themselves from Pitt since Jolie and Pitt’s 2019 divorce, with some dropping his last name.
