The couple welcomed Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson on December 12. Her name serves as a tribute to Davidson’s late father, Scott, a firefighter who passed away during the September 11 attacks. This is the first child for both Davidson and Hewitt, who began their relationship in early 2025.
Beyond the family milestone, fans noted that much of the ink on Davidson’s arms and torso has dramatically faded. The “Saturday Night Live” alum began the grueling process of erasing his approximately 200 tattoos in 2020. During a previous interview on “The Tonight Show,” he described the procedure as painful and tedious, involving burning off layers of skin with weeks of recovery time between sessions.
While he intends to remove the vast majority of his body art, Davidson confirmed he is keeping a select few, including a portrait of Hillary Clinton on his leg. He jokingly recalled that Clinton herself reached out to ensure her likeness wasn’t being removed, to which he promised she would stay.
Reflecting on the experience, the 32-year-old comedian cautioned others to think long-term before getting tattooed, noting that personal tastes and feelings often shift over time.
