Savannah Guthrie's return date to “Today†was revealed during her emotional interview with Hoda Kotb about her mom Nancy's disappearance.

After Savannah and Kotb's sit-down aired on the morning show on Friday, Kotb and the rest of the hosts confirmed Savannah will be back at the “Today†desk on Monday, April 6.

“She is coming back to this job that she loves here at ‘Today,’†Kotb told viewers while sitting beside co-hosts Jenna Bush Hager, Dylan Dryer, Craig Melvin and Al Roker.

Melvin added of Savannah, “Because she is not going to let sadness win. Joy is going to be her protest. It is where she belongs. It is where we all want her to be.â€

“We cannot wait to welcome her back with open arms here in Studio 1A.â€

Savannah, 54, has not appeared on “Todayâ€Â since Nancy, 84, vanished from her Tucson, Ariz., home on Jan. 31.

The journalist also withdrew from covering the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan, Italy.

Last week, Page Six exclusively reported that Savannah could return to the morning show as soon as April, after her children's spring break ends.

We were told Savannah wants to spend as much time as possible with her husband, Michael Feldman, daughter, Vale, 11, and son, Charley, 9, before stepping back into the spotlight.

A source also told us that Kotb — who has returned to the show on an interim basis in Savannah's absence despite exiting the network in January 2025 — has a busy schedule coming up with the launch of her Joy 101 app, which could pave the way for Savannah's return.

But the insider noted that if Kotb isn't available, there are other anchors on hand to fill in.

Shortly after Nancy's apparent kidnapping, we reported that Savannah would remain off the air for the “foreseeable futureâ€

“The entire show and network is rallying together in support of our beloved colleague and friend as we navigate this unimaginable time,†an NBC source told us at the time.

Another insider added, “Everyone at ‘Today' is taking this day by day, and of course giving Savannah the grace, time and support she needs.â€

Savannah returned to the “Today†studio in New York City on March 5.

She was pictured crying while hugging her colleagues, whom she thanked for “caring about my mom as much as I do.â€

“I wanted you to know that I'm still standing, and I still have hope, and I'm still me,†she said. “And I don't know what version of me that will be, but it will be.â€

Savannah also confirmed that she will return to work — eventually.

“I have every intention of coming back,â€Â she told the other hosts. “I don't know how to come back, but I don't know how not to. You're my family. And I would like to try.â€
