Jimmy Fowlie, a writer for “Saturday Night Live,” is appealing to the public for help in locating his missing sister, Christina Lynn Downer. On Monday, Fowlie posted an emotional message on Instagram, expressing deep concern for his sister’s safety and urging anyone with information to contact the Los Angeles Police Department.
Downer, who may also use the name Christina Fowlie, was last heard from in November. She was last seen in the Los Angeles area. Fowlie provided the LAPD contact number (213-996-1800) and case number (25237639) to facilitate any leads. Along with the official missing person flyer, the comedian shared several photos of his sister to help with identification.
The plea has gained significant traction on social media, with “SNL” cast members like Bowen Yang and Sarah Sherman sharing the post to raise awareness. Other public figures, including Hannah Einbinder, Casey Wilson, and Scheana Shay, have offered their support and promised to amplify the search efforts.
Fowlie joined the “SNL” writing staff in 2022 and recently co-wrote the popular “Domingo” sketch. Before his work on the late-night show, he was a member of The Groundlings and appeared as an actor in projects such as “Search Party” and “English Teacher.”
