Vanessa Williams is addressing her menopause challenges with the help of GLP-1 medication. The “Ugly Betty” actress revealed in a Hello! magazine interview that she has been using Mounjaro for the past two years. “It’s a game-changer,” Williams stated, explaining she decided at age 60: “I want to be here for a long time, and I want to look my best. So what am I going to do?”

The 62-year-old performer faced significant physical changes beginning in her late 40s. “My fifties were hard,” she shared. “I started perimenopause in my late forties but suddenly, at 51, it’s crazy how your body changes.” Williams described feeling “out of control” when her usual exercise and diet routines stopped yielding familiar results.

Embracing medical advancements, Williams enthusiastically noted: “Science is amazing. I’m like: ‘What’s next? Bring it on!'” Her regimen includes Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) for menopause symptoms and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) injections for cellular rejuvenation.

For skincare, Williams uses a P5 facial treatment—an updated “vampire facial” technique—reporting visible improvements after three sessions. She also swears by the Ziip handheld device for facial contouring, which she’s used for 15 years since receiving it from makeup artist Melanie Simon.

Despite these challenges, Williams maintains a positive outlook on aging: “There’s an ease and wisdom that comes with age. It’s just delightful to still be in the game.” She currently stars as Miranda Priestly in London’s West End production of “The Devil Wears Prada.”
