Victoria Jones, daughter of actor Tommy Lee Jones, faced multiple legal issues prior to her death at age 34 in a Northern California hotel. Court records show she was arrested twice in Napa County in 2025—first in April for obstructing an officer, drug use, and narcotics possession (to which she pleaded not guilty), and again in June for domestic battery and elder abuse (also pleading not guilty). She additionally had a 2011 theft charge in Texas, later dismissed.
On New Year’s Day 2026, Victoria was discovered unresponsive on the 14th floor of San Francisco’s Fairmont Hotel by a guest. Paramedics attempted resuscitation but pronounced her dead at the scene. The incident was flagged as a potential overdose after dispatchers noted a “code 3 for overdose, color change,” suggesting possible cyanosis. Authorities found no evidence of foul play, trauma, drug paraphernalia, or suicide indications. It remains unclear whether she was a hotel guest or how she accessed the 14th floor.
The investigation continues. Tommy Lee Jones, 79, shared Victoria and son Austin, 43, with ex-wife Kimberlea Cloughley. The Jones family’s representatives have not commented publicly.
