Violinist Brian King Joseph has filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against Will Smith and his management company, Treyball Studios, Inc., in Los Angeles Superior Court. The complaint alleges disturbing incidents during Smith’s global tour in March 2025, including unauthorized entry into Joseph’s Las Vegas hotel room.
Joseph, a former “America’s Got Talent” contestant, claimed he discovered a threatening note signed “Stone F” with a heart, along with personal items like HIV medication, a beer bottle, and hospital documents belonging to an unknown individual. He reported the breach to hotel security but was later fired and “shamed” by tour management, according to the lawsuit. The musician stated the ordeal caused severe emotional distress, reputational damage, PTSD, and financial losses.
Smith’s attorney, Allen B. Grodsky, denied the allegations to People, calling them “false, baseless, and reckless,” and vowed to contest the claims legally. Joseph had previously praised Smith on Instagram after joining his tour in December 2024, sharing a positive experience.
In a recent Instagram Story, Joseph thanked supporters for their encouragement and hinted at the legal battle in a December 26 video, stating, “Getting fired or blamed for reporting sexual misconduct or safety threats at work is not OK,” without naming Smith directly.
