Nancy Guthrie's abductor could strike again, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos warned on Thursday.
The investigator said on NBC News that “it'd be silly to tell people, ‘Yeah, don't worry about it. You're, you're not his target.’â€
He urged others not to “think for a minute that because it happened to the Guthrie family, [it's] safe†for everyone else.
“No,†Nanos said, “keep your wits about you.â€
The TK acknowledged that while officials “believe [Savannah Guthrie's mom] was targeted,†they are “not 100 percent sure of that.â€
He added, “We believe we know why he did this.â€
