Zayn Malik seemingly took a subtle jab at his ex-One Direction bandmate Harry Styles regarding the steep ticket prices for Styles’ forthcoming “Together, Together” tour. During his Las Vegas concert on Wednesday, Malik addressed the crowd in a widely shared clip, expressing gratitude: “You could have been anywhere, but you decided to spend your night with me.” He then quipped, “Hopefully, the ticket prices weren’t too high—just saying,” prompting laughter from the audience.
Styles’ global tour, spanning May to December 2026 and comprising 50 shows, has drawn criticism for its pricing. Tickets for his London performances reportedly range from £44 ($60.80) to £466.24 ($642.76), sparking backlash among fans online. One supporter tweeted, “I love you but I cannot justify spending an entire paycheck on 2 concert tickets,” while others labeled the prices “disgusting.” Styles later confirmed that £1 ($1.38) from each ticket sold will be donated to LIVE Trust, a UK charity supporting grassroots music venues. Page Six also reported a planned 30-show residency at New York’s Madison Square Garden.
Styles and Malik, former One Direction members alongside Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and the late Liam Payne, have had a tense relationship over the years. After Malik left the band in 2015, Styles humorously referenced the split during a 2017 skit, asking, “Why would anyone in a successful band go solo?” Their most recent public reunion occurred at Payne’s funeral in November 2024, following Payne’s tragic death that October. Both artists paid tribute on social media, with Malik expressing devastation and Styles honoring Payne’s “greatest joy” of making others happy. Styles’ new album, “Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally,” is set for release on March 6.
