Apple Martin is kicking off 2026 with momentum, starring in Self-Portrait’s spring campaign just weeks into the new year. The daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin appears in a series of striking images photographed by Ryan McGinley and styled by Mel Ottenberg in upstate New York.
In the campaign, she models ethereal looks from the brand, including a high-slit dress while standing ankle-deep in a lake and a lace design while floating on her back in the water. One standout shot features her wearing a retro satin gown alongside a fallen tree, holding a large yellow snake. With her resemblance to her mother, she effortlessly embodies the brand’s romantic aesthetic.
This marks Apple’s second collaboration with Self-Portrait, following her debut campaign for the label last fall. Founder Han Chong praised her growth, noting a “reflective evolution” and “maturity” in the new imagery. He described her as “a new effortless style icon in the making.”
While pursuing her studies at Vanderbilt University, Apple has embraced modeling, recently appearing with her mother in Gap’s fall campaign. Gwyneth praised her daughter’s natural ease in front of the camera during a Vogue interview, to which Apple humorously replied, “Mom, I’m happy you approved of my work.”
Beyond fashion, Apple is also exploring music, making her singing debut in Nashville last October—tapping into her father Chris Martin’s legacy as Coldplay’s frontman.
