Bianca Censori shared that she recently underwent treatment at an inpatient rehabilitation facility in Spain, describing the experience as essential for addressing personal behavioral patterns that negatively impacted herself and others. “I needed to work on myself,” she told Vanity Fair, acknowledging a tendency to blame those close to her for her emotional state. Censori admitted to emotional instability and self-medicating with benzodiazepines but emphasized that rehab profoundly transformed her ability to function and regulate her emotions.

She credited her husband, Kanye West, for financing her treatment, calling it the most meaningful gift he had ever given her. Following her recovery, she supported West in seeking help for his own struggles, which led him to enter a rehabilitation program in Switzerland. During this period, West publicly apologized for previous antisemitic remarks and began appropriate medication.

Censori also addressed challenges in their marriage stemming from West’s controversies, including selling offensive merchandise and making inflammatory statements. While she briefly considered leaving him, she dismissed these thoughts as “surface level” and likened her support during this time to “doing CPR for months.”

The couple’s relationship began in 2021 while collaborating at Yeezy, with Censori noting their bond developed through constant proximity. They married in December 2022, shortly after West’s divorce from Kim Kardashian was finalized. Censori stressed that their union was motivated by love, not a desire for fame, and praised West’s parenting of his four children, highlighting his creativity in creating memorable experiences for them.
