Alexa Curtin, the 33-year-old daughter of former “Real Housewives of Orange County” star Lynne Curtin, revealed she is homeless and battling drug addiction in a recent interview with the YouTube channel “L.A. To You Int.” The impromptu discussion took place at a gas station in Lancaster, California, where she described her life spiraling downward after years of drug use.
Alexa, appearing with disheveled hair and missing teeth, admitted she has used fentanyl for six to seven years after initially using heroin. She said her addiction worsened after meeting people who introduced her to stronger substances, leading to homelessness and dangerous situations. She lost two fingers in a drug-related car accident, calling the experience discouraging.
Living on Lancaster’s streets, Alexa recounted traumatic events, including being handcuffed, suffocated, and raped for two hours by an assailant who threatened her life. She emphasized the area’s dangers, noting frequent assaults on unhoused women. Currently without a phone, ID, or Social Security card, she expressed hope to return to Orange County and rebuild her life “from the ground up.”
Alexa briefly worked in pornography after moving to Los Angeles but stopped when savings ran out. She detailed estrangement from her parents, who live in San Diego, explaining they’ve cut ties until she becomes sober. Reflecting on her childhood, she described instability due to frequent moves, disrupted education, and lack of stable relationships, which she believes hindered her potential.
She urged others to avoid isolation, warning that loneliness can lead to depression, substance abuse, and dangerous choices. Alexa has faced multiple drug-related arrests and filed for divorce in 2019, shortly after her mother’s separation from Frank Curtin. Lynne Curtin, who appeared on “RHOC” Seasons 4–5 and made guest appearances later, shares another daughter, Raquel, with Frank.
