The post followed former castmate Karamo Brown’s sudden withdrawal from joint talk show appearances with Tan France, Jonathan Van Ness, Antoni Porowski, and Jeremiah Brent. Brown stated he felt “mentally and emotionally abused for years,” revealing his therapist advised him to prioritize his well-being. In a letter read on “CBS Mornings,” he emphasized protecting one’s mental health and peace.
Reports from TMZ suggested Brown learned through his mother that his co-stars were speaking about him negatively during filming. Brown has since unfollowed France, Van Ness, and Porowski on social media. Berk, who left the show in 2023, commented a supportive emoji under Brown’s recent Instagram post about overcoming personal struggles.
Earlier, Berk had downplayed rumors of a fallout with Van Ness and France. In a Vanity Fair interview, he described a personal conflict with France unrelated to the show, clarifying it wasn’t romantic. Berk expressed optimism about repairing their relationship over time.
