Harry Styles is embracing a fresh perspective on love with his new single, “Aperture,” the first release from his upcoming album Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally. The upbeat track celebrates finding security in connection, with lyrics like “We belong together / It finally appears, it’s only love” and “I wanna know what safe is.”
The song’s title references a camera’s aperture—the opening that lets light into a lens, mirroring its theme of openness. Styles hinted at personal growth during a BBC Radio 1 interview, stating, “I’ve opened up more to positive things in my life.” Zoë Kravitz, whom he’s been dating since summer 2025, was heard laughing in the background as he described the album as a “life’s mantra” of balancing love and fun.
Fans speculated for weeks about new music after cryptic clues, leading to Styles’ official album announcement last week. The Grammy winner also revealed a 30-show residency at Madison Square Garden starting this August.
Though it’s unclear if the song directly references Kravitz, sources say their bond feels uniquely deep: She reportedly views him as her “soulmate,” contrasting her past relationships with Karl Glusman and Channing Tatum. Styles previously dated Taylor Russell and Olivia Dean before his romance with Kravitz began last year.
