Jaime King expressed shock over her husband Austin Sosa’s recent divorce filing, telling Page Six she was “completely blindsided” by the unexpected legal action. According to TMZ, banker Sosa sought to end their marriage in court on Thursday. The couple had become engaged in summer 2025 after meeting through friends in December 2024 and reportedly married privately.
The “Sin City” actress, 46, stated she was with Sosa the night before the filing became public and believed they were addressing typical marital challenges. She emphasized, “I genuinely believed we were working on our relationship.”
King also denied speculation linking her split to reported sightings with hotelier Vikram Chatwal, clarifying that their interactions were professional business meetings unrelated to her personal life. The actress, who finalized her divorce from director Kyle Newman in 2023 after 17 years of marriage, shares two children with Newman.
“My focus right now is my work and, above all, my children,” she said, urging privacy and criticizing assumptions that disproportionately scrutinize women’s professional conduct.
