The iconic comedian confirmed his performance in a Friday afternoon tweet, declaring, “You better believe I will be on stage tonight,” and later specifying a 7:00 pm start time. The sold-out event signals the venue’s return after pandemic-related closures and aligns with ongoing vaccine rollouts across the city. Known for hosting top comedians like Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock, and Amy Schumer, Gotham Comedy Club will launch its “Gotham All-Stars” lineup with Seinfeld’s show.
Beyond the stage, Seinfeld has actively supported NYC’s resurgence.
