Lamar Odom has entered a rehabilitation program following his arrest for driving under the influence earlier this month. His manager, Gina Rodriguez, confirmed to Page Six that the retired NBA player voluntarily chose a 30-day treatment at iRely Recovery to prioritize his health and address personal challenges.

Rodriguez stated Odom is taking full accountability for his actions and aims to proactively manage his well-being. The facility specializes in helping individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders achieve balance and long-term recovery.

According to TMZ, the 46-year-old athlete is specifically seeking help to quit marijuana, concerned it could lead him back to harder drugs. Odom was arrested in Las Vegas on January 17 and faces DUI charges along with traffic violations for excessive speeding and improper lane changes.

Odom has a history of substance abuse, including a near-fatal overdose in 2015 at a Nevada brothel. His ex-wife Khloé Kardashian paused their divorce proceedings to care for him during his recovery. In a 2023 episode of “The Kardashians,” she revealed confronting him about relapsing, even physically striking him upon discovering he’d contacted a drug dealer.

In recent years, Odom claimed ketamine therapy helped maintain his sobriety, telling “Good Morning America” in 2021 he felt “alive, sober, and happy” under supervised treatment. His latest rehab stay marks another step in his ongoing effort to sustain wellness.
