The actress revealed the unnamed co-star, a top-billed actor, publicly criticized her in front of the crew, leaving her feeling unsupported. She described crying off set due to the stress. Ferguson eventually confronted the actor, insisting on acting opposite a tennis ball or the back of their head instead. Producers initially resisted, citing the actor’s seniority.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, her co-star in “Hercules,” praised Ferguson for standing up to the bullying. Ferguson later hinted others had negative experiences with the same actor but acknowledged the difficulty of confronting such behavior professionally. She admitted her own approach wasn’t ideal but emphasized the need to set boundaries in volatile situations.
