Snoop Dogg shared support for his daughter, Cori Broadus, following the loss of her 10-month-old daughter, Codi. The rapper posted a photo on Instagram with three of his children—Cori, 26, and sons Corde, 31, and Cordell, 28—alongside a heart emoji caption. Fans flooded the comments with condolences for the family’s tragic loss.
Cori announced her daughter’s passing on Instagram Stories, posting a black-and-white photo of herself holding Codi in the hospital with the caption: “Monday, I lost the love of my life. My Codi.” Her fiancé, Wayne Deuce, also mourned their daughter online, writing, “Daddy will always love you. My baby.”
Codi had been born prematurely in February and spent 10 months in the NICU before coming home in January. Cori revealed she underwent an emergency C-section after developing HELLP Syndrome, a severe pregnancy complication, stating that waiting longer “would’ve been really bad.” Just weeks before Codi’s passing, Cori had celebrated bringing her home, thanking supporters for their prayers.
