Victoria Jones, the daughter of actor Tommy Lee Jones, revealed she was under the influence of cocaine during an arrest months before her death on New Year’s Day. Court documents obtained by the San Francisco Standard show she disclosed her substance use during a Napa County sheriff’s wellness check on April 26, 2025. At the time, officers found a plastic bag containing a white substance—suspected to be cocaine—in her pocket, along with dry blood around her nose. She was booked for being under the influence, possessing a controlled substance, and resisting arrest, though she later pleaded not guilty.
Earlier that year, in February, Napa officers responded to a domestic violence call at her home. Authorities stated the caller, reportedly her husband Navek Cejas, sought intervention during an escalating argument but declined to press charges. The same individual was involved when Jones faced another domestic violence arrest in June, to which she also pleaded not guilty.
In May 2025, Jones was separately charged for allegedly being under the influence of toluene, a solvent known for its euphoric effects when abused. She was found dead on January 1 at San Francisco’s Fairmont hotel at age 34. While her official cause of death remains pending, reports indicated she was seen using cocaine prior to her passing.
